|Child Care: A Growing Need
Working parents are facing increasing difficulties in
locating quality care for their children. Due to the growth of dual-income families, the
demand for child care providers has dramatically increased. Just getting a search started
can be difficult, since providers with openings may be scarce. Once possible providers
have been identified, it may be difficult to make the final choice.
An increasing number of businesses are including child care
in their fringe benefit packages in order to attract and retain qualified employees.
The State of Florida has made available a special
opportunity for employers wanting to offer child care programs as an employee benefit. If
the employer qualifies under the terms of this plan, the State will match dollar for
dollar the amounts contributed by the employer to provide Child Care for their employees.
This is a rare opportunity to give a fine employee benefit at a 50% reduction in cost.
Employers - If you want to find out if this benefit is
