Child Care Resource & Referral
Child Care Resource and Referral
serves as the primary source for parents, child care providers,
businesses and the community
to obtain information on child care programs that best meet their
needs. Information is provided on identifying specific child care
needs, choosing quality child care, training, and other options
for selecting early childhood education programs.
Resource and Referral offers an array of support for children
and families with regard to all programs in the agency. Referral
services include; counseling, transportation, educational, food,
clothing, housing, legal, parenting classes and social services.
To assist parents in determining their needs, a Family Needs Assessment
is completed by a counselor with the parent.
The Resource and Referral Department maintains a complete and
up-to-date database of Child Care Centers and Family Child Care
Homes throughout Brevard County. By carefully selecting a quality
child care or early childhood education program, you are choosing
the type of program which is most likely to support your child's
positive growth and development. Child Care Resource and Referral
counselors can help you find a program to accommodate your family's
needs and will also help you to determine if you are eligible for
assistance in paying for child care.
